Ms. Xu Shizheng, Director of the Standing Committee of Jiaxing Municipal People’s Congress, Mr. Ju Fei, mayor assistant, visited our university on Sept. 8, 2008 for the annual celebration of Teacher’s Day. On behalf of all the students and teaching staff, Party Secretary Hu Jianchen warmly welcomed the visit of Ms. Xu and Mr. Ju and expressed his hearty gratitude to their great concern to teachers. Secretary Hu also briefed the current work and future plan for the next phase during the meeting with Ms. Xu and Mr. Ju. Under the companion of the top leaders of our university, Ms. Xu visited the Lianling Campus extending project planning after the meeting.

    Members accompanied Ms. Xu were Secretary General Xie Lixing of the Standing Committee of Jiaxing Municipal People’s Congress and Director Feng Jiajun of Jiaxing Municipal Bureau of Education.

    Leaders of Jiaxing University presented at the meeting were Tang Rui-e, Xia Yueping, Huang Jianping, Du Huanzheng, Zhu Hua, and Lv Yanqing.
